Since late 2006, I've been in business as a self-employed web designer and web application developer - and so far so good, with work comfortably ramping up despite threats of recession. This was quite a bold step after many years as an employee, but after considerable thought it seemed the right move to make for many reasons. So my outdated suggestions that were on this page as to how to create a vaguely passable website have now bitten the dust, because I don't really want you going ahead and making your own when I can refer you to my recently-revamped commercial site at www.goznet.co.uk so that you can have an excellent one instead!
