Music
Music forms a very important part of my life, and I enjoy both listening to and making music of all kinds - playing in the church worship band, composing my own material, and listening to my small but fairly varied selection of CDs.
I didn't really listen to a lot of music as a child, only really forming much opinion on what I did and didn't enjoy by my late teens, though like many children I had started playing instruments at a much earlier age. However, unlike most children, those initial cacophonic experiences of school recorder dis-ensembles weren't enough to put me off for life, and at about the age of ten I took up the clarinet, gaining Grades 3 and 4 before finding it a lot more fun just playing rather than undergoing formal tuition.
Twenty years on, the clarinet is gathering dust - though I hope to revive it sometime - but my musical interest is still going strong, even if I don't get as much time to put into it as I used to at some points in the past. The following links give some insight into where I stand today with all things musical.
